The Smithwick Farm is a third generation family owned and operated professional horse farm. The farm is convenient to horse enthusiast in the Baltimore/ Harford County Areas - 15 minutes between Fallston, Towson and Bel Air.
Lessons and training will take place in Jarrettsville in our arena that has latest in equestrian footing while the Hydes Road farm will be closed during the winter months to break yearlings which produced four Hall of Fame Horses.
Advanced riding lessons are offered under the auspices of a former Hunt Cup Winner, and our lessons program includes a comprehensive beginner program including basic dressage. Additionally, therapeutic lessons to children by a Professor of Pediatric Nursing.
We also have Pony Club Riding Center - for kids who do not own their own ponies, and a Boys Jousting Club to prepare the next generation of successful Maryland Equestrians.
